Do you and your spouse/partner come from different religious or cultural backgrounds? If so, you have company – 70% of marrying couples in Colorado in which one person is Jewish are interfaith. These relationships present unique challenges and blessings which traditional cultures and religions haven’t had to respond to before.
This is where Judaism Your Way comes in. If you are an interfaith couple in a committed relationship, then we’d like to invite you to join a new group in Denver with other couples like you!
Through guided conversation, structured exercises, question-and-answers sessions and journaling, participants will explore and gain insight into the following questions:
- How do we talk to our children about each of our faiths? Is it possible for them to be exposed to both faiths?
- What roles do religion, culture, and ethnicity play in a mixed heritage couple?
- How do we approach the shared and divergent values of our backgrounds?
- How can I celebrate my heritage and respectful to my partner?
