Judaism Your Way

ShabbAsana

Experience Shabbat with ShabbAsana!

Join us on a Friday afternoon to find physical and spiritual nourishment through a unique yoga practice. This program is offered both in-person and livestreamed.

Additional Details

Through a unique yoga practice we will nourish our bodies, minds, hearts, and souls. Discover the wisdom of your body through a Jewish lens, utilizing Jewish themes, meditations, Kabbalah, prayer, and yoga. This experience is a roadmap to deeper connections to your roots that complement and unify the connection between your body and soul.

Classes are led by Alec Sarche. Alec blends a physical yoga practice with a deeply spiritual one, drawing on the ancient history of yoga and his backgrounds in theater, climbing, and Judaism, to help people learn to integrate their bodies, minds, and spirits. His practice is rooted in the pleasures of movement and storytelling. Alec received his 200-hour yoga teacher certification from the House of Om in Bali, Indonesia.
